By using this website or the Curriculum Builder you agree to these terms. They are deliberately brief; if anything is unclear, ask us.
The website
- The site is provided by Primary Coding League CIC to describe our outreach, equipment loans and training, and to let you contact us. Bookings and loans are confirmed separately in writing.
- We try to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for loss arising from your use of it, except where the law does not allow us to exclude liability.
- Our own text, design and logos are ours; please ask before reusing them. Partner logos belong to their owners.
The Curriculum Builder
- The Curriculum Builder assembles curriculum planning documents from openly licensed public content. It is a planning aid: you remain responsible for checking that any plan suits your pupils, your school's policies and the National Curriculum.
- Lesson content from Oak National Academy and the Teach Computing Curriculum (Raspberry Pi Foundation / NCCE), and the Education for a Connected World framework (UK Council for Internet Safety), are used under the Open Government Licence v3.0. The documents we generate carry the required attribution; please keep it if you edit them. Neither Oak National Academy, the Raspberry Pi Foundation nor UKCIS endorses Primary Coding Hubs.
- Where we link to third-party resources (for example Common Sense Education, Childnet, CEOP Education, ProjectEVOLVE, Google and the BBC), those resources are subject to their owners' own terms and licences. We do not copy or redistribute them.
- Online-safety lesson plans and pupil resources written by Primary Coding Hubs are licensed to you for use in your own school. Please do not resell them.
- Slide decks, worksheets and quizzes downloaded through the builder come directly from Oak National Academy and are subject to Oak's terms.
- The Google Forms feature creates quizzes in your own Google Drive with your permission. How we handle that permission is set out in our privacy policy. Google's own terms apply to your Google account.
- While the builder is offered free of charge, we may change or withdraw features without notice. If we introduce paid packs, the price and what it includes will be shown before you pay.
Acceptable use
Please do not use the site or the builder to break the law, to overload our services or those of the content providers we link to, or to pass off the generated documents as endorsed by the original publishers.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
